The Smith Who Snitched

I presume you're all up to date with the Greg Smith saga. Of the Goldman Sachs executive who quit via an Op-Ed in the New York Times (reckon the humble op-ed aint so humble any more) because he couldn't commit himself any longer to the firm's policy of aggrandizement, one that he had diligently served for twelve years.

Yes, roll your eyes folks.

Meanwhile, Mr Smith is shopping a book proposal and launching an alternate career as a writer. A title comes to my mind: The Smith Who Snitched!

Anyway, I came across this fantastic cartoon that to me summed up the same ole-same ole saga brilliantly!

Wadja think?

  1. The disillusioned one after twelve long years shows the personal goals were not in synchronization! Usually happens when one makes enough money for an alternate career:)

Yup, the toon aptly sums up the crazy state of affairs today, when you don't know whether to laugh or cry...
